Breakfast was just ok. Service was fast and our waitress was very attentive to all of our needs.

Do not order an omelette. They don't make them with actual beaten eggs. Very plastic feeling. They probably use the egg-like substance you get in a carton. Disgusting and rubbery. Couldn't even eat it. I guess everything else was good enough.

The only thing I enjoyed was their coffee. Avocado wasn't ripe at all, veggies uncooked (when I specifically asked to be cooked) not a big selection at all. Oh! And their oatmeal tasted like straight sodium. it was definitely a thumbs down.

I found myself in the Ocean View Grill to escape a flash thunderstorm. We were seated immediately and visited by our friendly waiter who informed us that they were 'out of menus' but she would return with one shortly. 10 minutes later still no menu, but I saw a stack sitting on the hostess table so I grabbed them for our table. Another 10 minutes before our order is taken, but eh ok, they are busy. We put our order in, chili, chicken finger and moz sticks. It took no joke, an hour to get our food. I know there was a rainstorm and high volume but it seemed the restaurant was totally unprepared to operate at full capacity during normal lunch hour, which I find odd and my low blood sugar found especially frustrating. The food was ok. Not bad, but not great. Time to pay and they have a one credit card policy. No splitting at all. It would have been nice to know that up front. I also just found out I was double charged on my credit card and now have to request a credit. On food alone, I'd give it 2 stars, but the management mishaps have to knock it down to one.

This is my first time in ocean city and this was my first meal. Thanks god I'm not judging my trip based on this dining experience. By far one of the worst meals and experiences Ive ever had. I ordered 2 pancakes, cheese eggs and bacon. My girlfriend ordered a veggie omlet with cheese. Both of our meals came without the cheese we ordered, eggs were cold and dry, and the pnckakes were terrible. Also, they forgotto bring out my girlfriends order of bacon. This made no sense considering the fact that NO ONE was in the restaraunt except us. This should have been an early warning sign... Stay away from this place! I would definitely give this half a star if I could.

This is right on the boardwalk, thus the 2 stars, if not it'd be 1 star. If you want a view, then yes go here. We stopped by for breakfast one morning. The staff were friendly. They had a buffet, but I decided to try the regular menu. Breakfast was nothing special. My pancakes were dry and not good for the $10 I paid. Go to the cafe under the Spinnaker Motel, it's MUCH better and higher quality. I don't understand all the good reviews for this place, but this was just my breakfast experience with them. I'm a big foodie, so this place was just average for me. Overly-priced for the view of the ocean I'm guessing.

After the waiter told us the "fresh" fruit of the day was either fresh cantalope or 2 day old watermelon, my wife picked the cantalope. Cantelope was good. I ordered blueberry pankakes......my guess is the blueberries were older than the watermelon. Ugh.

I don't give out 1 star often, but would give less if I could. We stayed at the Quality Inn on the Boardwalk, which is attached to Ocean View in March, so we really wanted to like this place. Plus it advertised as "The place for ribs", which was great because I have a family of rib fanatics. We ordered a large order of ribs, a kids order of ribs, the jerk chicken and a kids chicken tenders. The chicken tenders stole the show. I am not exaggerating when I say the ribs were next to inedible. You know how you crave "fall off the bone tender" ribs, these were the opposite. They only way meat would fall off the bone is if you had a jack hammer. I wasn't aware ribs (or any meat for that matter) could be so dry. You need to drench every little bite in a ton of sauce otherwise it tastes and has the consistency of chalk in your mouth. And the jerk chicken was not much better. While not as dry as the ribs, they were pretty much flavorless and the chicken was clearly frozen prior to cooking. Maybe it's because we can off season, but I'd avoid this place at all costs. Believe me, you'd be better off with a Big Bite from 7-11.

Came here to celebrate my parents anniversary dinner, was sadly disappointed. We were seated immediately and our waitress took our drink orders right away while we looked over the menu. Our waitress did warn that the kitchen was behind "10 to 15 minutes" as they had just got a rush of people (place was no where close to full, it was 7pm and maybe 10 tables) Our waitress took 20 minutes to take our order and it took half an hour to get drinks, even water. Our appetizer (crab dip,YUM!) came out quickly, but the entrees took 45 minutes. One dinner plate was incorrect and had to be sent back (after the waitress argued that she wrote it down correctly) Sides and main dishes arrived at different times, which was awkward. Overall, entrees were pretty good, sides mediocre. Crab dip, crab mac and cheese, and steamed crab were good. The sauteed broccoli was a bit too browned, and my baked potato was old and hard- definitely sat for a few hours too long. Drink refills were slow to none; we were asked if we would like more drinks, but then never got them. To top it off, our waitress added 18% gratuity, even though we were a party of 5, not 6. When we spoke to the manager about the service, she was apologetic and asked what she could do to right it, though blamed the poor service on new employees and that they have new people every season. (Though this isn't any news for restaurants in this area, it's a seasonal type place!). She did the best she could given the situation, but we won't be back.

I had breakfast here with 8 people in our party. I had an omelet with toast and home fries. Everything was good. Even with the large party the service was great.

We were in OC for a golf weekend. We saw this place as a good option for breakfast as we were staying at the attached Quality Inn and it would be a quick in and out..... wrong! We allowed plenty of time for breakfast and ordered nothing exotic. Just eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc. It took half an hour to get 'most' of our meals. One we never did get!! I guess whole wheat pancakes are some sort of delicacy in these parts. If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid this place convenient or not.

The food was good but the service needs help. We had French toast and pancakes both good enough to order again. The service will make me think about trying a new place slow, cold, and rude.
